But for those that know the freedom of Living in the country it is a dream come true! Living in the country has extreme appeal, space, peace, big home, big yard, Natural surrounding, place to raise your family…the list goes on.For a lot of homeowners, having a Rural or Country home is the dream!!
Acreages can be a tempting dream for many, a chance to take charge of your life and land, a chance to get away from neighbors, busy streets, and the hustle of even small towns.
If you are just getting started with your Country /Rural home search, things might seem overwhelming, there are many different aspects that you will need to take into consideration. the size of the land, topography of the land, permits, setbacks, zoning rules, water, hydro, sewage, trees, right of way, outbuilding structure, etc.

Be sure to work with a Buyers Agent,Experience in Country /Rural Homes, Farm/lands &Acreage homes. they can save you time, money, and resources. You might ask yourself, If I can find myself the property I want, then whydo I need towork with a pro?

But as far as hiring a Realtor is concerned, mostReal Estate Agents will not deal in Rural /Country Homes, because they know it is too complicated.

Most of them do not have much knowledge and Experience in Rural/ CountryHome transaction.

Your realtor should be aware of –

Topography, Permits, Setbacks, Zoning Rules/Regulations, Environmental and Conservation Issues, Wetlands, Soil types, Water, Hydro, Sewage and other utilities, trees, right of way. MDS, Property Boundaries etc.…

I am familiar with the zoning district, setbacks, lot coverage, and other standard zoning regulations. I am familiar with drilled wells, sewer systems, land types, buildings, and most things associated with rural properties.

so, do not get your fingers burned, dealing with the wrong agent or false advertisement!
